CRAFT OF THE MONTH
Personalized Pencil Toppers
Make an ordinary pencil into something that is all yours with a personalized pencil topper!
Materials:Pencil eraser head / String (about 15 inches) / Alphabet beads / Glue

1. Place the eraser head on the top of a pencil.
2. Put some glue around the bottom of the eraser head.
3. Wrap one end of the string around the bottom of the eraser head until it covers most of the bottom half of the eraser head.
4. Tie the string around the bottom half of the eraser head.
5. Once the glue is dry, string your beads onto the string. Spell out your first name or nickname. If you'd like, add extra beads for flair. Be creative!
6. After all the beads have been strung on, tie a knot at the end of the beads so that they will not fall off.
7. Ask a grownup to help you trim any extra string.

When your pencil wears out, remove the topper and put it on top of a new one.
